Boilers, Bustles, & Belles
An evening of Steam Engines and a Victorian Ball at Colorado Railroad Museum in Golden, sponsored by the Victorian Society of Colorado, and Denver Victorian & Steampunk Society.
Join us for rides behind one of CRRM's grand old steam engines, followed by a Victorian Ball at 7:00 in the Pavilion. Dance historian Sharon Guli will be our caller, with live music performed by the Grandview Victorian Orchestra. Sharon will be teaching the dances, so no prior dance experience is necessary.
A variety of diversions and entertainments will be provided during the Ball, and refreshments will be served. CRRM will have the exhibits open all evening and the gift shop will be open for your souvenir shopping pleasure.
Victorian, Neo-Victorian, and Steampunk attire is always admired, but never required - if you're more comfortable in dressy attire, please be comfortable.
COVID-19 Information: For fully vaccinated persons, there are no mask-wearing requirements for most areas of the Museum. Federal regulations require masks to be worn while riding the trains. If you are no fully vaccinated, masks are required at all times inside the museum. Don't forget to bring your masks!
CRRM Rules: Weapons of all sorts are strictly prohibited on CRRM grounds. Do not bring your Steampunk prop weapons, your CW replica side arms, or your dress rapier.
