The Impre$ario
BxO is proud to present our first opera film -- a Zoom-style virtual production of Mozart's comic one-act opera The Impre$ario! Screening on two consecutive evenings, followed by talkbacks via Zoom, The Impre$ario is sure to tickle your funny bone. Tickets are available on a pay-what-you-wish basis, on a sliding scale from $100 to $nothing.
Featuring film shot both on-location and in our performers' home studios, as well as raucus dialogue scenes recorded via Zoom, all underscored by our wonderful orchestra, The Impre$ario hilariously delves into a Seinfeldian exploration of the effect of money in the arts. We aim to leave you thinking (and laughing).
