Homeschool Spring Gala

There is a place like no place on Earth; a land full of wonder and mystery. Some say to survive it you need to be as mad as a hatter.....

Fall down the rabbit hole with us as we enter Underland/Wonderland for an evening of dancing, fun, and games that will entertain you until the stroke of midnight.

Come celebrate the end of another school year with your friends at the Homeschool Spring Gala! Once you walk the red carpet your fun evening starts with DJ Spinnin' Scott, a photo booth where you and your friends can try on zany props, snap group photos and get them printed all night long. There will be plenty of teen favorite food and drink offerings served by our caterer, Zeffert and Gold. In addition, our professional Gala photographer will take your candid and posed shots.

A special tribute will be made to all seniors. Homeschool alumni and their guests are invited to join the Gala as their class reunion!

Dressy clothes are the norm, but tuxedos and floor-length gowns are totally optional. Most guys sport a jacket and tie and the girls choose a variety of dress lengths. This is not an event that you need a "date" for, either! Guests mix and mingle with their friends and make new ones. Seating is not pre-assigned so everyone is free to move around throughout the evening.

The Gala is for homeschoolers ages 13 and up. Time is 8:00 pm to midnight.

Here is the menu for your dining pleasure:

*Hummus and Babaganouch served with pita petals
*Seven Layer Mexican Dip (guacamole, refried beans, sour cream, scallions, grated cheddar cheese, tomatoes and spicy salsa), served with nacho chips
*Beef Slider Burgers w/condiments of ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, bread and butter pickles.
*Chicken Fingers w/barbecue sauce and honey mustard.
*Franks in a Blanket with yellow mustard
*Deluxe Ice Cream Sundae Bar w/premium vanilla and chocolate ice creams, hot fudge,
whipped cream, Oreo Cookie pieces, Heath Bar Crunch bits, Maraschino cherries, jimmies,
and wet nuts.
*Chocolate Fountain with strawberries, pineapples, bananas, pretzels rods, marshmallow, and graham crackers
