Webinar: You've Been Served the Anatomy of a Lawsuit

Attendees will learn about the construction litigation process, from service of a claim through resolution. This will include a discussion of various contractual risk mitigation measures, effective project document retention policies, the role of professional liability insurance, and the litigation process in both State Court actions and Arbitrations. Learning Objectives ~ Attendees will learn: 1.How to effectively use contract provisions to limit liability. 2. How to effectively manage projects to limit liability. 3. How insurance, Errors and Omissions, and Commercial General Liability policies, will respond to litigation. 4. What to expect from the litigation process in both State Court and binding arbitration proceedings.

Presenters:
Lawrence A. Treglia, Jr. received his undergraduate degree from San Diego State University (BA, 1982), and his law degree from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law (JD, l986). His practice focuses on civil litigation with an emphasis on construction law, and on representing and counseling design professionals. He has received Martindale Hubbell's AV Preeminent, the highest possible rating in both legal ability and ethical standards.
Devin E. Murtaugh graduated from Vassar College (B.A., 2009), and his law degree from the University of Southern California (JD, 2013). He has taken numerous cases up to and through trial throughout Southern California, and especially emphasizes fee claims and malpractice defense for design professionals.
