Experts and Insights: MCC Faculty Speaker Series- April 15, 2021
Join us when MCC's faculty presents, "Let's Talk about Death"
Professor Jim Gould and Professor Christine Grela will discuss the importance, but lack of comfort, around discussions of death. The focus will be on why we should talk about death, why we don't (we explain the history of changing attitudes toward death, what we should talk about (for example: end of life planning, both estate and medical aspects) and how to talk about death (with children and within families). We end with remarks about how confronting the fact of death enriches the meaning of our lives and sharpens the choices we make.
