Integrated Voice, Movement & Acting with Michael Lugering
The 2-DAY INTRODUCTORY WORKSHOP offers a survey of the principles and practices of the Lugering Method:

Architecture of an Expressive Action--the physical raw materials that make human expression possible will be articulated and researched in an experiential process rooted in sensation and exploration.

Hierarchy of an Expressive Action--an improvisatory process in which an expressive action is built from the ground-up. The actor investigate how a weight-shift influences a breath-shift, influences a sound-shift and ultimately a speak-shift in integrated organized human expression.

Voice and Body Exercises--are comprised of a series of exercises that progress sequentially from lying, to sitting, to standing, and finally, to upright locomotive movement. Each of the exercises incorporates a series of integrated moving, breathing and sounding actions that mirror the universal physical pattern that makes human expression possible.

The workshop is open to participants of all backgrounds and experience.
