Wisconsin singer-songwriter Katie Dahl has performed her original songs all around the world, gathering accolades along the way for the depth and power of her rich alto, the literate candor of her songwriting, and the easy humor of her live performances. Chicago-based singer/songwriter Sue Fink entertains audiences with her quirky tales of love gone awry. Her genre is folk with a hint of jazz, and a large dollop of humor: think Christine Lavin, with a dash of Rickie Lee Jones, Melanie, and Nellie McKay. St. Louis native, Jane Godfrey, created her own genre - urban campfire cabaret for her mix of folky, poppy, bluesy-jazzy original songs.
