The AIA Orange County Chapter's WIA Committee Presents: Burnout A Panel Discussion
The WHO recently recognized Burnout as an occupational phenomenon as with the onset of COVID-19s demands for a re-distribution on our time, this course shares the perspective of women at different levels in their career sharing their experiences along with active recovery strategies to help prioritize mental health. As we all have multiple demands on our time, the panel will speak on topics of monitoring where your energy is going, creating corporate structure to help colleagues thrive, and managing demands/ making time as factors in this phenomenon.

Learning Objectives:

2.Highlight Gender Inequities in work distribution
3.Prioritize Mental Health
4.Identify active recovery strategies and resources that are available for assistance

Julia Malisos: is a planner with 15 years of progressive experience across a range of professional functions in the development industry. She has proven ability to obtain jurisdictional approvals, manage large-scale multi-faceted projects, and lead teams of both internal and external personnel. Key areas of expertise include preparation of design guidelines, specific plans, and other policy documents, entitlement processing, project management, site design, code research and compliance, public hearings, community outreach, and leadership. Julia is experienced in physical and policy planning for infill development as well as greenfield master-planning.

Kristina Quintanilla:

Kristina Quintanillas brand revolves improving the human experience both in the workplace and outside of the workplace. In her current role as Director of Studio Strategies at Little, she utilizes a consultative approach to build relationships, identify and strategize new business opportunities. Her expertise lies in learning and understanding business systems and structures while identifying and investing in developing authentic business relationships that bring alignment between the client and our service offerings.

Frawn Morgan has spent her four-decade career in Real Estate Development, Finance and Advisory.   During the last several years, she has also commenced research into the experience of working mothers and is developing strategies for increasing working mothers well-being, including those designed to address daily challenges faced by working mothers.  Frawn holds graduate degrees in Organizational Communications (Northeastern) and in Applied Psychology (UPenn) and is pursuing a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership (Northeastern).
