Before I Die - The Last Word from Opera Singers
"Ride in a hot air balloon. Walk along the Great Wall of China. Sing at La Scala. Go scuba diving by the Great Barrier Reef. In this crazy cabaret, members of VOX 3 Collective ponder the meaning of life and share what's on their Bucket List in music! Once again blending pop, jazz, musical theater, and classical styles, performers sing songs celebrating the joys of life, the tragedy of death, the struggle for survival, and the mystery of the great beyond. A featured section also pokes fun at opera's overly dramatic death scenes: that five-to-eight minute period when the dying protagonist pours out gorgeous melody instead of struggling for breath. Despite the tuberculosis, every note should sound perfect. Before we all kick the bucket, VOX 3 Collective shows us there's such a lot of living to do!"
