Fish Out of Water

For the first cabaret of the season, members of VOX 3 Collective once again concoct a potent blend of classical, pop, and musical theatre styles as they explain how sometimes things just don't quite fit. Reaching deep into the aquarium of life, these "fish out of water" sing of small town lives with big city dreams, weave in elements of traditional sea shanties, and tell other stories of making waves. With composers ranging from Alan Menken to Carl Friedrich Zelter, from Celius Dougherty to Richard Rodgers, this crazy cabaret is sure to make a splash!

Fish Out of Water is premiered on Sunday, November 17 at 2:00pm, Mary's Attic, 5400 N Clark, Chicago, IL. A repeat performance is given Monday, November 18 at 7:30pm, DANK Haus Skyline Lounge, 4740 N Western, Chicago, IL. There is a $5 cover for both performances.
