AIAOC Project Delivery Webinar: Delivering the Future ~Transform and Start Making Friends
Whatever the delivery method, projects are requiring more collaborative teams meeting ever higher measures of success. To meet extreme project expectations, stereotypes must be identified and left behind, replaced by integrated teams spanning roles traditionally partitioned. In the modern project delivery landscape Owners expect near perfection, and the simplest of projects requires a sophisticated team of professionals fulfilling roles that are evolving, even contracting and expanding simultaneously. This presentation is structured for project participants from the design, builder and owner perspective. Individuals considering a range of project delivery methods and how best to apply the available options to their projects.

Brain Pratt, AIA
Brian Pratt, AIA, LEED AP is the Campus Architect, and Assistant Vice Chancellor for Design & Construction Services at the University of California, Irvine. Currently overseeing major academic building projects, research facilities, and housing projects, he leads the Design and Construction efforts for the campus delivering highly complex projects via design build. Brian has served in the private and public sectors, formerly leading the Orange County Architecture Discipline as a Principal with AECOM. Having served on the Board of Directors and as President of the American Institute of Architects, Orange County, he is accustomed to working with complex projects and multiple user groups. Brian has recently led a variety of project types, including laboratories, sports facilities, retail, cultural, and civic, both new and renovation. Past clients include UCSD, UCLA, CSUF, UCSB, UCR, the Arizona Cardinals, University of Arkansas, and Pomona College, Brians work has been recognized with several awards and recognitions and many projects have achieved LEED Platinum certification.
