Silverstein's "A Boy Named Sue" won a 1970 Grammy. He was nominated for an Oscar and a Golden Globe for his song "I'm Checkin' Out" in the film "Postcards from the Edge." He also shines with his adult material. Welcome to the darkly comic world of Shel Silverstein, a world where nothing is as it seems and where the most innocent conversation can turn menacing in an instant. The ten imaginative plays in this collection of short sketches range widely in content, but the style is unmistakable and recommended for Adults only. MATURE CONTENT.
