Deep Strings - Our 2020-2021 Ukiah Community Concert Association 2nd Virtual Concert!

The music of Deep Strings offers an outstanding mix of rhythm, melody and song in lyric pop-chansons and virtuoso jazz improvisations. Few performers have been as adventurous and enterprising as the duo Deep Strings, from Berlin. Anne-Christin Schwarz on cello and vocals and Stephan Braun on cello have explored the range of expression and the inexhaustible palette of the cello and its possibilities since 2000, developing their own unique sound. They captivate listeners with intimate song, brilliant timing, amazing virtuosity and breathtaking cello techniques. Deep Strings are 1st prize winners of the Jazz and Blues Award Berlin.

Each of our artists will be sending a high quality recording to be shared with members and ticket holders by private link to their email. We will broadcast this show on its date live via Zoom with a board discussion and question and answer after the presentation.
