Steampunk Soirée
DVSS is delighted to present our second annual Steampunk Soirée, this time in the lovely month of June. Dance on the beautiful wooden floor of the Molkery. Enjoy the soft summer evening on the Veranda. Revel in Victorian aesthetics interlaced with goggles and gears, and brass and lace. Enjoy a variety of punches, biscuits, cakes, and other delicate refreshments.
Steampunk Soirée will be hosted in the lovely Historic confines of The Molkery, the Montclair Civic Center. Built in 1888, The Molkery was part of Baron Von Richtofens elaborate Denver estate, and intended as a health spa for suffers of tuberculosis. The Molkery features a lovely wooden floor just perfect for dancing, and a wrap-around veranda complete with grand staircase from which one may observe the surrounding park.
Steampunk, Neo-Victorian, and Victorian attire are always admired, but not required. Should you opt for more modern dress, please consider black tie or formal-wear.
