Mardi Gras with Medicine Ball

Born on the streets of San Francisco in the early 70's, The Medicine Ball Band continues containing top level musicians and always hanging on to roots from New Orleans. For this year's Mardi Gras we'll feature Queen of New Orleans Soul- vocalist Chelle Jacques; Leon Joyce Jr- drums; John Hunt- drums, washboard and vocals; from New Orleans John Stafford- clarinet, sax, flute and vocals; Anton Patzner- violin, whistling and vocals; 14 year old euphonium/trombone sensation- Kazeem Elebute; David Sturdevant- guitar, banjo, harmonica and vocals and some very special guests including Benny Watson - piano and Geechi Taylor -trumpet and vocals
