MICHAEL COLEMAN TRIO at the Sound Room
Michael Coleman and his trio dig deep into the Great American Songbook in search of hidden gems and long-forgotten treasures. Following in the footsteps of the great piano trios of yore, this group finds their own interpretations of classic songs of the Tin Pan Alley era as well as of the great songwriters of the 1960's. With an emphasis on melody, group interplay and dynamics, the trio invites listeners into a world of subtle coloration and timbrel shading.
The Micheal Coleman Trio features Michael on piano, Smith Dobson on drums, and Doug Stuart on bass.
