Oakland Samba Revue

Debuting summer of 2019, Oakland Samba Revue is the newest contribution to the Bay Area's rich legacy of top notch Brazilian music. Based on the 'little big band' sounds of Brazilian samba de gafieira, O.S.R. is a product of Grupo Falso Baiano co-founder Brian Moran - "Morangão", backed by Ethan Pires (trumpet), Zack Pitt-Smith (reeds), Jeff Cressman (trombone), Brendan Neutra (bass) and Zach Mondlick (drums), and featuring vocalist Catia Lund. Rooted in acoustic samba, O.S.R. is samba, is jazz, is funk, is fun! Music to dance to, music to listen to.
