SDCaN Nature Based Programming Workshop
You don't want to miss this special workshop! From leading interpretive hikes to running fort building activities, San Diego Children and Nature (SDCaN) and SD Parks and Recreation staff will train attendees on how to connect youth and families to the natural world through nature-based programming.
Topics include: The importance and need for Nature Based programming in San Diego Tools, resources and tips for teaching youth and families in nature settings Using journals, maps, field guides, etc. to enhance programming How to run 'Loose Parts, Nature Play' activities

Who should attend: City of San Diego Parks and Recreation Staff (Area Managers, Center Directors, Recreation Leaders, Recreation Aides, Rangers) County of San Diego Parks and Recreation Staff City of San Diego Library Staff County of San Diego Library Staff Community Organizations interested in running nature-based programming.
