A Night to Remember!
On January 23, 2020 Dancing Bear Appalachian Bistro and the Smoky Mountain Astronomical Society go hand-in-hand for an incredible night of Appalachian cuisine, Gallica Vineyards Wine pairings, and an Incredible Star Viewing Party!
What's a STAR PARTY? During the Dessert course of the wine dinner, The President of the Smoky Mountain Astronomical Society will give an exciting and educational presentation of the constellations, Galaxies and Nebulas that will be seen in the crisp January skies. After some instruction and incredible star info - the group and Guest Astronomers will head down to the Dancing Bear Event Lawn to look for themselves! SMAS will have large telescopes, binoculars and equipment ready for guests to see the beauties of the night sky and will explain how and why we are looking Deep into the Past!
Its going to be an incredible night - but dress warmly and we will bring the cocoa...and the Astronomers!
