New Pathways 2020..Bellydance for Meditation and Healing
(specific and intuitive pathways and types of movement for healing and emotional well-being)
Bring a journal or notebook and pen or pencil

Workshop will include:
-Slow Movement Sanctuary
(coordinating breath and movement,
how to relax and release tension while moving,
-explore to learn which movements and tempos improve physical and emotional states. Will target areas using breath, waves, undulations and micro-movements
-group and personal movement and sitting mediation
-spontaneous and guided journaling in the form of words, prose, poetry or simple drawing of images.

Zilling & Dancing with Drumming with Omar and Rafi'ah

BRING ZILLS!!
Rhythm patterns with and without movement,
basic to more advanced...multi-level.
It is such a fun supportive and nurturing way to learn zills. w
We will play, embellish, create, learn, move and groove and have a few jams here and there.

This is a long time to work with zills so we will be alternating with movements that strenghten hands and fingers and movements that go with the rhythms and some tips on how to dance to the drum.

ISIS DANCE WIINGS ARE REQUIRED!
Finding your muse and connect with the ethereal and become a beautiful goddess-like bird for a couple hours. It's uplifting.

Majestic creative and magical poses, smooth gliding moves, various spins, vibrations and bellydance moves and combos to do in a solo, duet or group wing dance.
