Mid-winter joyful noise sure to raise a smile and make you want to dance. The Hartford Hot Several Brass Band is bringing their party to the Unitarian Society of Hartford for a pre-New Years blast.
Since 2012 they have been Hartfords much-needed funky marching band to bring brass, ruckus, and joy to all. Mid-winter joyful noise with a Hartford twist on the spirit of New Orleans is sure to raise a smile and make you want to dance.
Inspired by the international street band movement, the Hartford Hot Several Brass Band spreads the joy of playing in the street both for the fun of it and in support of others working on important social issues, especially in our Hartford community. There are between 10 and 24 of them and they call themselves the Justice League of funk and rumble: they show up, make people smile and dance, then go back to their fancy lair.
