New Year's Eve Extravaganza!

I've never done a New Year's Eve dinner at Dirt Candy, but I want to start 2020 by putting my most creative foot forward, so my kitchen crew and I are having a New Year's Eve blow-out and ringing in the New Year with a whole bunch of new dishes. And we want you to join us!

Studded with lucky New Year's traditions from around the world, this is the end-of-the-year party Ive always wanted to attend!

Were going to have two seatings, one starting at 5:30pm and one starting at 9pm.

NEW YEAR'S EVE KICKOFF SEATING

- a selection of amuse-bouches that were creating right now, but which will definitely include our caviar.

- Hoppin' John is a Southern New Years tradition, and were honoring it with Hoppin John Hummus with crudite and bread service.

- Portobello Mousse with persimmon compote and truffled toast.

- my brand new Nashville Hot Carrot Dogs, based on Nashville's iconic hot chicken. I've only ever served them once before and people keep asking us to bring them back so, Happy New Year! Theyre carrot hot dogs with maple carrot puree, pickled carrots, and carrot cole slaw.

- in Spain, theres a tradition of serving 12 grapes on New Years Eve, so well be grilling 12 grapes for you tableside.

- and, finally, were working on a special New Years Eve dessert right now.

This menu will include everything on the menu above, but also:

- a full caviar service with handmade blinis and more!

- Spinach Spaetzle with shiso broth, sesame seeds, dehydrated alpine cheeses, and petite lilac spinach.

- in Japan, on New Years Eve, they serve Toshikoshi Soba noodles for good luck, so Im creating my own version of this dish with butternut squash noodles served in a roasted butternut squash consomme.

- And, of course, well be pouring you something sparkling to toast in the New Year.

Our cocktail team is pulling out all the stops and pairing every single course with amazing wines, bubbles, cocktails, sake, and even beer.

We don't want the non-drinkers to miss out on the fun, so we'll have spirit-free cocktails, botanicals, and non-alcoholic wines on hand. Just ask your server when you're seated and we'll take care of you.
