Nightclub Cantorina, a Variety Revue

In an era of mass produced beats, pop and rock, Nissen goes the other way: His kaleidoscopic revue brings back soaring melody, screwball comedy and romantic drama. It plays like a mini-Broadway musical.
Songs include:

"Take Me Away" a romantic fantasy based on Jack London's life as a sailor

"Nightclub Cantorina" about a notorious European party spot, set to gypsy jazz

"Hawaiian Hippie" - a character who lives by "tune in, turn on and drop out"

"Concerto in G-Whiz", a jazz-Bach piece

Sanctuary for Families will be at the show to ask for donations for victims of domestic violence.
