White Christmas (1954)
Singers Bob Wallace (Crosby) and Phil Davis (Kaye) soon meet the Haynes sisters, Betty (Rosemary Clooney) and Judy (Vera-Ellen). The sister act is booked to perform at a ski lodge in Pine Tree, Vermont. Wallace and Davis join them.
Once at the lodge, they run into General Waverly (Dean Jagger). He was the fellas commander in World War II. The foursome soon learns that the General is having financial difficulties. His quaint country lodge is failing. Even worse theres no snow.
Phil and Judy play Cupid with Bob and Betty. Meanwhile, Bob and Phil plan a yuletide two-fer: a Broadway-level show at the lodge thats sure to bring in customers and a surprise reunion for their whole combat division!
Punctuated by a classic Irving Berlin score, romantic mishaps ensue while everyone dreams of a white Christmas.
Starring Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney, Vera-Ellen and Dean Jagger.
