MOMLIFE: a Mommy Reads Benefit Show
This is Guts & Glory GNV's 3rd annual fundraiser for the Mommy Reads program. Mommy Reads supports Lowell Prison, where a large percentage of the incarcerated women are mothers and grandmothers. Mommy Reads supplies books and recording devices to record these women reading to their children and grandchildren, whom they otherwise would not get to communicate with. Guts & Glory GNV celebrates this special project with a night of storytelling about motherhood from various perspectives.
A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales goes to the program, and we take both cash and book donations at the door to supply Mommy Reads for their upcoming visits to Lowell.
Come join us for this special evening! An extra $1 is added to each ticket to go directly to Mommy Reads. <3
