A mother and daughter live in a rural house. One evening, the daughter calmly declares her intention to kill herself. What follows is a painfully honest portrait of a woman who died a long time ago, and a mother who is compelled into unexplored territory: her own heart. This heartbreaking script won the 1983 Pulitzer Prize for Drama and was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Play.
Starring Sophie Blackburn and Shirley Sayers.
