Whitney Chitwood's debut album "The Bakery Case" is coming out! To celebrate, she's hosting Chicago's most BANANAS hilarious comedians then performing a half hour of yummy, new material!

ABOUT WHITNEY:
Maria Bamford has called her "inspiring" and Eddie Pepitone has called her one of his "favorite comics everyone should know." Whit's been the requested opener for the likes of Rhea Butcher, Adam Conover, Cameron Esposito, and Greg Behrendt. She's headlined Altercation Comedy Festival (TX), Yuck Fest (IN), The Southwest Chief Comedy Festival (CO); been featured at Riot LA, 208 Comedy Fest, San Francisco Sketchfest, The Hollywood Improv; has appeared on podcasts such as Pep Talks w/ the Bitter Buddha, Probably Science, Put Your Hands Together; and additionally, Whit is a frequent contributor to The Paper Machete!

Whit's debut album "The Bakery Case" was featured twice by Sirius XM's First Listen on Raw Dog Comedy and will be released by Stand Up! Records across all major platforms and in physical form on Oct 18th!

ABOUT "THE BAKERY CASE":
Whitney is a lesbian squirrel in a shoebox with the voice of a chronic chainsmoker, a jawline that could bring down an oak tree, and a haphazard knack for accidental injury. The Chicago comic hits the stage with swagger and a disarmingly pragmatic look at the fits and starts of American progress, from homophobic bakers to her feminist shortcomings, bigfoot investigators, beards of plaid, approbation of bike mechanics with mustaches, and well-meaning pronoun-mangling moms. In Chitwoods hands the multi-tiered cake of cultural lethargy that so often represses can feel surmountableor at least mountable with the right tools.

Recorded live at The Paper Machete in Chicagos historic Green Mill, Whitney is beyond ecstatic to share with the world what has truly been a labor of love.
