Do you love herbs? Like adding fresh, just-picked rosemary, thyme, and oregano to your healthy cooking?
Join Eloyce O'Connor and Erin Harwood of Garden Delights CSA and Herb Farm in an outdoors workshop at the Pacific Park Natural Garden demonstration site. Eloyce and Erin will share their secrets to growing a wide variety of herbs - suitable for use in cooking, teas, and personal care items, such as lavender sachets and bath salts.
Start your herb garden today. Each registrant will receive a small container of three different herb starts.
After the talk we will do a little maintenance in the demonstration gardens. There will be time to ask questions, and Master Gardeners will be on hand to assist. Dress appropriately for the weather.
No tools are necessary, but you may want your own gloves if you use them. Bring drinking water.
This workshop is put on in conjunction with Clark County Environmental Services.
