Jump Start with the Arts! Uno, Dos, Tres con Andrés!

Andres Salguero: Uno, Dos, Tres con Andrés!
For 2-6 year-olds and families
Children sing, shake, and sound out rhythms while learning simple regional Latin dances and practicing Spanish words. We will all dance to La Bamba, discover the colors in Spanish, celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, and meet friends of all kinds, including an iguana named Juana!
This is the first of three performances in the Jump Start with the Arts series c/o Class Acts Arts, presented in partnership with the Silver Spring Day School for preschool-age children and families -- with sponsorship support from Kathy Morgan, realtor.

DinoRock: Amelia and Her Big Red Plane
Amelia Earhart was an adventurer. DinoRock Productions wants young children to be there when "little girl Amelia" builds her own roller coaster in the backyard. They'll watch her fly her first plane over their heads. They'll become the sights and sounds Amelia sees and hears when she flies across the Atlantic.

Join master storyteller Robert Kikuchi-Yngojo in an adventurous journey of the imagination. Experience an array of wondrous tales told with music and movement, including Bluebird and the Magic Pond (Korea), Rainbow Mudbabies (Philippines), Maliang and The Magic Brush (China). Be amazed!

Jump Start with the Arts is a project of Class Acts Arts, Inc., a non-profit educational and community arts outreach organization supported in part by the Maryland State Arts Council, Montgomery County government, Arts and Humanities Council of Montgomery County,and by the National Endowment for the Arts.
Silver Spring Day School is a parent participatory preschool with over 180 children in classes designed for two-year-olds to pre-kindergarten students.
