Sand Machine has busied itself with creating infective melody lines and harmony arrangements reminiscent of the British invasion overlaying bucolic American roots rock. Encompassing social commentary, story-telling, emotional revelation, and a touch of wry, Sand Machine purports to be both the forest and the trees. Besides playing consistently in Boston and other parts of New England, they also play NYC, Pittsburgh, Nashville, etc. Brooklyn's Jon LaDeau visits many streams of Americana, as well as reggae, with his free-flowing, folk-based music opens the show at 8PM.
