Northwind Arts Center welcomes Port Townsend favorite Janna Marit, with special guests Matt Sircely, David Michael and Zach Parker, Friday September 13 at 7:00pm. Series sponsor is Peninsula Hearing. Media sponsor for this series is KPTZ-FM radio.

Janna Marit is a Port Townsend-based singer-songwriter. She studied acting at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Pasadena, CA, and performed with a puppet troupe and a sketch comedy group in Los Angeles. She appeared locally in the critically acclaimed Key City Theater musical production of Jacques Brel is Alive and Well. She is also a visual artist with a particular passion for painting portraits and drawing the human figure. Since 2005, Janna has been performing her own songs. Her first album 'Blush in Blue' was produced by her husband, Greenlandic singer-songwriter Simon Lynge, with whom she has toured internationally.

For this show Janna will be joined by special guests Matt Sircely (mandolin & fiddle), David Michael (harp) and Zach Parker (guitar & ukelele). They will perform songs from Janna's album, a few guest originals, and some favorite covers. Join them for what is sure to be a charming evening of music!
