Back to School Picnic

It's the end of the summer and we're all headed back to school so let's have one last brunch blowout before it's all over!

On Sunday, September 8, from noon - 5pm, we're hosting an epic picnic at Dirt Candy where $67 gets you all the food you can eat.

All-new dishes!
Dirt Candy wine coolers!
An Ice Cream Sundae cart!
Cheap beer!

I'll be serving my brand new Nashville Hot Carrot Dogs, based on Nashville's iconic hot chicken. I've been experimenting with this dish for a while and it's a carrot hot dog with maple carrot puree, pickled carrots, and carrot cole slaw, and it tastes amazing.

We'll be serving baskets o'salad at every table. I'm playing with them right now, but the straightforward version is:
- Green Bean salad
- Macaroni salad
- Cucumber salad
But this being Dirt Candy, you know they're going to wind up crazier than that.

We'll also be serving:
- Herb-grilled corn!
- Deviled eggs!
- Fries with all the fixings!

There will be cheap beer, a special Bloody Mary (our cocktail crew is working on it now), and for dessert...an Ice Cream Sundae Cart!

This is going to be an epic farewell to summer and you don't want to miss it!
