Historic Berwyn Bungalows and More House Tour
The 2019 Berywn "Bungalows and More" house tour will be on September 29th. Purchase tickets now at a discount to celebrate 40 years of the Berwyn Historical Society.
This year's tour will showcase houses and historical sites in north Berwyn, near the historic Grant Locomotive strip (between 19th Ave eastbound and 19th Ave westbound). Before Berwyn was incorporated as a city, the Grant Locomotive Company in Cicero had a railroad spur extending into Berwyn as far as Ridgeland Ave. Today that strip of land includes a city pumping station, a childrens splash park, green space, and one house.
