Jodi Kantor and Megan Twohey, whose articles on Harvey Weinstein ignited the #MeToo Movement, with America Ferrera
Two years ago, almost to the day, New York Times journalists Jodi Kantor and Megan Twohey published an article which changed the world.  Their piece on October 5, 2017, detailed serial harassment, abuse, coercion, intimidation, and often, rape. Their reporting about one of Hollywood's most revered producers shook not just the film industry, but all industries in many countries around the world. It wasn't as if this behavior was new or singular-- but by several women agreeing to go on record about their experiences, it created a seismic shift in the way women, and employees or subordinates, could come forward and talk about abuse of power in hiring and employment practices.

That initial piece on October 5, 2017, ignited the #MeToo movement, which changed the way we look at, talk about, and most importantly, experience our work relationships. In their new book, She Said: Breaking the Sexual Harassment Story That Helped Ignite A Movement, talk about how they did it, and the consequences that their work had on men and women, on all of us. Hard to believe that it was only two years ago. They won a Pulitzer Prize for their journalism.

In conversation with America Ferrera. America Ferrera is an actor, writer, producer, as well as an outspoken activist in social justice. She is a founder and one of the leading voices of Times Up, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing resources of all kinds to people who have been the victims of sexual harassment in the workplace, as well as advocacy an and legal assistance.

Tickets and books are non-refundable.
