USUK ( LIVE)
USUK LIVE is a collaboration of award-winning Allen & Heath sponsored DJ/producer Mark EG from the UK and Chad Stegall, a piano composer and synth addict from the United States. The idea behind the project (including their new label USUK) is to take influences from two separate scenes and meld them together to create something completely unique. Their music has no specific genre or format and is about letting the sound and creative process take over and lead the way.
Chad, a piano composer and analog synth producer, brings beautiful, inspiring, and sometimes haunting melodies to the table, along with a musical structure that few in the arena of electronic music can dream of emulating. Mark EGs love for driving techno percussion, hard gritty bass and precise production techniques, gives the final touch to USUK LIVEs cutting edge sound.
Expect driving melodic tracks, but with harder undertones than what is popular in the current Beatport Charts. Throw in 80s influences, driving electro vibes and youre witnessing an exciting road ahead for their music. Theyre even beginning to work with a session guitar player to take it a step further.
The live act itself is Mark EG controlling the MIDI, 303 and sequencing Ableton Live while Chad plays leads by hand and manipulates analog machines on the fly. You add this to Mark EGs legendary crazy stage antics and that is why USUK LIVE is one of the biggest up and coming acts going into 2019.

MARK EG ( DJ Set)
With a unique and anarchic approach, Mark EG has transmitted his musical message many times over from the UK to Australia, transcending generations and cultures by playing countless different styles of electronic music.
Marks stage antics are legendary. Previous shows have involved ironing boards, chainsaws, smashed decks and guitars, 12ft ladders, bags of flour. He entertains his fans like no other DJ in the world. They even have their own 'Mark EG' chant.
As a respected radio DJ, Mark runs his own national FM radio show on Megapolis 89.5FM. 'Tune In, Turn On, Drop Out' focuses on techno, electronica and more. His Megacast focuses on the harder sound.
Mark has released, remixed and mastered music under various guises on some of the worlds top labels. He runs his own Blackout Audio label (dark techno) and EG-303 (acid). His work with global equipment giants Allen & Heath has taken him around the world, officially testing and demonstrating their products at various events and conferences. He now also runs his own Music School, which enables him to give his knowledge back to those who want to get ahead in the music industry.
There have been many imitators, but there is only one Mark EG!
