The Max Mackey Band
Ill be 39 this year and why that has relevance is I remember one time going to see a guy in Boulder Colorado called Black Dog. He was an electric blues player to the bone. I loved his grit and ease in which he played. When I approached him at the end of the set I asked him how he learned to play like that like I was expecting some sort of magic elixir to drink or specific instruction style. His answer was pretty cut and dry. He said, play for twenty years.
And thats what Ive done.
