Storytime and Riverwalk
Join us for this FREE interactive walk with the Schuylkill River as a backdrop! This walk will keep your family engaged and interested with multi-sensory activities. To start, a kid-friendly story related to waterways will be introduced and then you will start your 30-45 minute interactive walk that will include wonderful views of the river, historical facts, Philadelphia Water Department messaging about water delivery/cleaning, and activities that will make connections to the story and our local waterways. We will end our walk with the option of your continuing your experience by visiting the Fairmount Water Works.
Time(s): Starting at 10:30am
Location: Look for the Let's Go Outdoors representative (holding a sign or wearing a T-Shirt) outside of Lloyd Hall (near public restrooms/benches).
