Toast the setting sun from the lantern at Ledge Lighthouse
Our Toast the Setting Sun tours have ended for the 2019 season. Thank you!

Let's start a new tradition: drink a toast to the setting sun from atop Ledge Lighthouse.
Take a memorable one-hour+ trip to climb to the tower of Ledge Lighthouse as the sun goes down.
We'll provide a toast.
Local, Personable, Authentic. Explore the region's lighthouses with the one who knows them best. We own three local lighthouses, including NL Ledge!
The boat takes six passengers, only. Trips coincide with the three days of the full moon.
Best of all, all monies raised by these tours go towards restoration of our local lighthouses.
Remember: Reservations, 12 hours in advance, are necessary for all of our tours, as we need to notify our captains. (If you want to take a chance with a day-of tour, please call 203-444-2884.) Please be advised: wind conditions can change quickly and there always is the possibility of last-minute cancellations. Our captain makes the call and your safety is our primary concern.
Please wear sneakers or boat shoes; no flip-flops or sandals.

We meet on New London Waterfront Park at the floating dock by the Custom House Pier, which is directly behind the Custom House.
Directions: from the bottom of State Street (right of the train station), turn right onto Water Street and drive the few blocks to where Water Street ends in a T.
At that point, make a quick hairpin turn by taking a left over the train tracks, and another left onto Waterfront Park. There is a place to park on the right-hand side at the road. I will be there to greet you a few minutes before we take off.
Tours last approximately 80 minutes.
Reservations are strongly recommended.
Wear deck shoes or sneakers.

$75 adults, $65 NLMS members & seniors, $50 children 10 to 18.
Ticket includes a sparkling wine or cider toast, free admission to the Custom House Maritime Museum ($7 value) and a 10% discount in the Museum Shop.
Tickets are non-refundable unless there is a weather cancellation. All tours are weather dependent. Please check your email inbox prior to departing for the dock. We will notify you by email if the tour is canceled. Guest cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
Food and drink, with the exception of water, is NOT permitted on the boat.
NLMS also offers 90-minute daytime trips to tour inside Ledge Lighthouse, land-based trips to visit Harbor Lighthouse, and special trips to Fishers Island and the Ferguson Museum.
