AWARD-WINNING MAGICIAN REUBEN MORELAND AND MAGICIANS WAYNE HAARHAUS, ANTHONY SAUSA AND JEFF MILLER TO APPEAR JUNE 23 at 7pm
Reuben Moreland
Reuben grew up in New York City, where, before the age of 18, he established himself as a world-class magician. Over the past ten years, Reuben has been invited to Represent the United States at the FISM World Championships of Magic on two occasions; First in Blackpool, England in 2012 and Rimini, Italy in 2015! Reuben has completed three world tours performing his magic, spanning over 32 countries in five Continents.
Wayne Haarhaus
Wayne Haarhaus's love of magic began when he was young. As a teenager, he was a member of FAME (Future American Magical Entertainers) a pioneering organization in the magic field for adolescents that existed in NYC. He appeared on the reality show It Takes a Thief when they were searching for a magician to rob. As a speech teacher in an elementary school, Wayne used his magic not only to entertain but to help his students improve their speech and language skills. Wayne now lives in Durham, NC where he continues to share his magical mayhem in the research triangle.
Jeff Miller
Emcee Jeff is a regular at the Parlor of Mystery and has thrilled Parlor audiences on many occasions. He's one of Long Island's most successful performers and has inspired many young magicians. Jeff is best known for his work at private parties where he's equally entertaining for young and old as a standup performer or doing mind-boggling close-up magic with a hefty dose of funny. June 23 is your chance to see Jeff perform his unique brand of magic without needing to wear a party hat.
Anthony Sausa
Anthony Sausa has been baffling audiences for over 25 years. He has performed for major corporations like The New York Stock exchange, Coca Cola and NASDAQ just to name a few. His performances are usually for private clients but can be seen in Coney Island at the Coney Island museum from time to time. Although he loves performing the classics of magic, he is skilled in all areas of magic. One of his favorite types of magic is close-up magic which he will be performing during the intermission in the theatre lobby.
The Parlor of Mysterys home is the South Shore Theatre Experience in Lindenhurst. Its the perfect place to experience parlor and close-up magic. It is a small black box theater with comfortable tiered seating for 40. The Parlor of Mystery is one of many productions that take place at the South Shore Theatre Experience, which is located at 115 South Wellwood Ave. in Lindenhurst. The South Shore Theatre Experience is a non- profit organization that produces original works and theater classics as well as conducting acting classes & workshops.
Parlor of Mystery shows usually take place on the fourth Sunday of every month with different magicians performing different effects. No one under the age of 7 will be admitted.
