34th annual Sioux River Folk Festival, held in Newton Hills State Park, will be Aug. 2, 3, and 4. This year's festival features The Barley Jacks with Brian Wicklund, Jack Klatt and the Cat Swingers, Trout Steak Revival, The Jeters, Tom Schaefer with Tom Peterson & Charley Smith, Jami Lynn & Dylan James, Jack, Johnny & Jamison and Son, The Tinder Box, and the Winner of the Strawbale Winery Folk Off held the week before on July 27th.
Workshops will be presented by the musicians from 10 am to noon on Saturday and Sunday, and a yoga workshop will be led by Mary Lou Greenway on Saturday morning at 10:00.
