Bluegrass by the River
The 2nd Annual Bluegrass by the River Festival will take place on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 2 Witches Winery & Brewing Company at 209 Trade St in Danville, VA - the birthplace of bluegrass legend Tony Rice.
The festival will showcase live, professional bluegrass music. This event SOLD OUT last year. Get your tickets early.
Performing this year will be the award-winning duo of Jeanette and Johnny Williams, well known artists the Jay Shelton Band, Franklin Station and Bandwagon.
Proceeds will go to our Sheriff's Office's local chapter of Project Lifesaver, a non-profit organization that provides wristbands to quickly locate individuals with cognitive disorders who are prone to the life threatening behavior of wandering.
Complimentary water will be provided as long as it last. Food, beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase on site. Our delicious food options include King Cropp Food Trcuk and Soughdough Pizza Truck.
