Curiosity and exploration are vital to the human spirit. As NASA explains, we are driven to explore the unknown, discover new worlds, push the boundaries of our scientific and technical limits, and then push further. The intangible desire to explore and challenge the boundaries of what we know is universal and enduring.
On Friday, May 17th, the Philadelphia Freedom Band invites you to suit up and meet us at the launchpad as we prepare for liftoff. With our engines at maximum thrust, our mission is to rendezvous with some of the most compelling modern compositions written about space exploration, as well as several of our favorite sci-fi film and television scores. Join us as we explore the farthest reaches of the galaxy together!
We strongly recommend purchasing tickets in advance, as our last performances at Caplan Hall were Standing Room Only. VIPs will receive a special gift and preferred seating with their ticket. Well have lots of tempting raffle items during intermission, and refreshments to follow the concert.
