Fundraiser, featuring the Symphonic Pops of Long Island
The Symphonic Pops Orchestra of Long Island will be performing a benefit concert for Congregation Shaaray Shalom in West Hempstead, NY. Listen to the dynamic sounds of a 60 piece orchestra who will be playing popular, contemporary music.
You will enjoy hearing musical selections including The Best of the Beatles (Lennon McCartney) The Empire Strikes Back - Star Wars Medley (John Williams), Take Five (Popularized by Dave Brubek), Bohemian Rhapsody (Queen), Guys and Dolls Medley (Frank Loesser) a An American In Paris (George Gershwin), 007 movie Themes (Various Composers) and much more.
The Music Director/Conductor of the Symphonic Pops of Long Island is Stephen Michael Smith.
Mr. Smith has performed throughout the United States and Europe.
This will be an enjoyable afternoon for all ages.
