Ariel Rivka Dance shows the breadth of its emotional, strong, and accessible movement to NYU Tisch Dance Summer Residency Festival. Enjoy an evening of diverse ARD repertoire with original music by Stefania de Kenessey, David Homan, and Stefanie Chun.
Ariel Grossman's latest work, "Mossy" (2019), is a duet that explores the physical, emotional and intellectual consequences of constant interruption. Honing in on Grossman's personal experience as a mother, "She" (2018) delves into the emotional waves of motherhood to the sounds of a breast pump, scored by frequent musical collaborator Stefania de Kenessey. The company rounds out the evening with audience favorites, including "No Words" (2017), "Four Concerned" (2012), Variations on a Box (2016) and "Holly (2011).
