FIRST ADA PRESENTATION Presented by the WOODWORK INSTITUTE: Common Pitfalls in the Design of Accessible Casework provides California ADA credit as well as 1.0 AIA HSW LU. The combination of California and Federal requirements leads to some easy-to-miss problems with casework design. This seminar covers those problems, and has some suggestions on ways to take the sting out of compliance.
SECOND ADA PRESENTATION Presented by I. LAWRENCE KALTMAN, AIA, CASp and MICHAEL SILVA, AIA, CASp: A Day in the Life of a Certified Access Specialist provides California ADA credit as well as .5 AIA HSW LU. You'll gain a greater understanding of common errors that send your project into non-compliance and how to avoid them.
THIRD ADA PRESENTATION Presented by DORMA: Understanding ADA-Compliance as it Pertains to Architectural Hardware provides California ADA credit as well as 1.0 AIA HSW LU. What are the six factors that ensure an opening is ADA compliant? You'll recognize those six factors after this seminar as well as understand how to specify ADA compliant hardware and when to use automatic operators.
