AGAVE 101: Tequila & Mezcal

Agave-based spirits (Tequila & Mezcal) are complex by nature and often misunderstood. This class will shed light on the rich history, the various distillation methods and how to best enjoy it (spoiler alert: it's not from a shot glass). After enjoying your welcome cocktail (tequila based, of course) you'll sip and savor 3 tequilas and 3 mezcals under the watchful guidance of our spirits instructor. Expect to leave just a little bit happier, and with a new found appreciation of this wonderful spirit.

You will nose and taste the following selection:

Herradura Reposado
Artenom 1146 Anejo
Casa Noble Single Barrel Extra Anejo
Montelobos Espadin Mezcal
Del Maguey 100% Tobala Mezcal

Welcome cocktail, six drams of tequila, and light bites provided.

To register for any class at The Flatiron Room, payment in full is required at the time of registration. Credit may be issued for a future class by notifying us in writing at least 7 days prior to class date by emailing Nicole at nicole@goodnightgroup.nyc. Or you are free to transfer your space in the class to a friend, family member or colleague. Simply email nicole@goodnightgroup.nyc with the name of your substitute.
