Mama Ain't Dead was born out of a love for fiddle tunes, old time music, bluegrass, and some friends deciding to start a band together. Made up of members from established New England Folk/Americana/Bluegrass bands Town Meeting, Green Heron and The Green Sisters, this collective is ready to show you something new that still feels nostalgic. Mamma's Marmalade is a Northampton MA-based, newgrass band. Their fresh take on traditional American music transforms the conventional bluegrass experience into a raucus barnyard party that refuses to let you sit. Since their formation in 2014, the five piece string band has been fusing diverse musical backgrounds into a sound that bursts at the seams with energy, exuding a pure joy for creating music.
