Music for Change 2019

At Toms River High School North, we are committed to teaching the students that every thing you do can have a positive effect on the world around you. The TRN Chorus hosts this annual fundraiser event in which students use their talents to support a local charity.

The performance itself is comprised of student-organized solos, duets, and small groups of mostly popular music. Students choose and rehearse their music with guidance from Choir Director, Chris Loeffler.

50% of the proceeds from this year's event will be used to support The Frances Foundation, a great charity with the mission of helping children who are fighting cancer and providing assistance to their families.

The other 50% will go towards supporting the TRN Chorus mission of providing a quality music education to the students of Toms River HS North. This year, some of the funds will go towards offsetting the costs for the move and upkeep of our newly donated Yamaha C3 Conservatory Grand Piano. Special thanks to donor Mary Michaels!
