Old Jakey has made it to that big pot of gold in the sky, and all of South Philly has turned up to turn up. From drinking contests to celebrity cameos to Irish stick-fights, Jakey's wake promises to put the fun in funeral. But things are not as they seem. Why does the hired keener keep screaming about haunted mirrors? Why does the funeral director treat this like a WWE match? And why is Jakey's sleazy grandson the only one who knows anything about Jakey? Mix in an avowed Enya-hater, a jealous meathead, an extremely Irish poet with a big secret, and a bootlegged aphrodisiac, and who knows? The death rate for this wake might just find itself Dublin.
