Great Alaska Craft Beer and Home Brew Festival: Connoisseur's Tasting

Alaska's longest-running and best-loved craft beer festival begins Friday, May 24 with a home brew contest, followed by a five-course, gourmet dinner with craft beer pairings for 200 lucky ticket holders. On Saturday, May 25 more than 1,700 beer lovers sample craft beers from Alaska, the Yukon, and beyond, poured by brewery representatives. Live music, food vendors, and games complete the festival atmosphere.

A select few Beer Connoisseurs are welcome to enter the Saturday tasting early for exclusive access to the brewers and samplings of their most prized selections. Connoisseurs can avoid the press of the crowd and have time to get to know brewers from throughout Alaska, the Yukon, and beyond, one-on-one. Connoisseurs will have their own limited collector's edition tasting glass.

Connoisseur tasting begins at 12 noon on Saturday, May 25, at Dalton City in the Southeast Alaska State Fairgrounds in Haines, Alaska! Admission for the Connoisseur's Tasting will begin at 11 a.m. through a special gate. General admission begins 1 p.m., and the festival runs until 5 p.m.

Tickets for Friday's Dinner and Saturday's Tasting are sold separately. 100% of Beer Fest tickets have sold out in advance of the event each year since 2009. Last Year's Connoisseur's Tasting sold out in a week, so don't delay!

Sorry, no children, infants, or animals on the Beerfest grounds, no exceptions.
